I am a White Rose BBSRC DTP funded PhD student within the Aspden group. My project, utilising various omics, explores translation initiation at near cognate start codons within long non-coding RNAs and their involvement in neuronal development. Outside of my PhD, my interests are embedded programming, electronics, and gaming.
