LeedsOmics "Introduction to RNA-Seq Data Analysis" Workshop (Nov/2025)
LeedsOmics Senior Bioinformatics Research Officer Dr Elton Vasconcelos along with Drs Ala Altaie (Research Fellow @ LIRMM) and Michal Zulcinski (PDRA @ LICAMM) ran another edition of the “Introduction to RNA-Seq Data Analysis” Workshop (24-25/11/2025). This two-day training workshop is suitable to anyone who is adopting RNA-Seq strategy in their own research and needs to develop a certain level of confidence on running a full RNA-Seq analysis pipeline on their own, from the raw reads' quality control very first step up to obtaining the list of differentially expressed genes and visualising/interpreting results. On this edition we kicked-off running the whole pipeline on the UoLeeds brand new HPC Linux cluster (AIRE), providing all bioinformatics tools needed through the /scratch/leedsomics_tools/ directory. Attendees stated to feel confident on executing standalone tools through the Linux command line and/or within the R environment on AIRE.
Thanks to all amazingly engaged attendees who joined us in this workshop edition.
